The Hands of Terra and Terra Fresh Foods family will be aiding in the effort to help the people of #Immokalee recover from the devastation caused by🌪 #Hurricane #Irma.
Immokalee is the center of the region’s agriculture industry and home to many families 🏡 who work the vast fields which produce a large amount of the United States’ fresh produce. As life slowly gets back to normal in many areas of South Florida affected by Hurricane Irma, Immokalee is still struggling with basic life necessities. Many residents live in mobile homes, which were destroyed by #Hurricane Irma. Nearly half of the population of #Immokalee live below the poverty line and many do not have the resources available to replace spoiled food, toiletries and clothes, let alone rebuild their homes and lives. 🌪Hurricane Irma not only destroyed mobile homes but also uprooted trees, flooded streets and caused power outages that have yet to be recovered.🏡🔨
To #help Immokalee families get back on their feet, Terra Fresh Foods and Hands of Terra is taking the initiative to help. We ask you to join in our efforts if you can. There are several ways you can help us with this mission. If you want to bring supplies you can deliver them to our warehouse located on 📍1500 NW 96th Ave Miami, FL 33172.
You can also buy the supplies online like in Amazon or Walmart and ship them directly to our warehouse. We will take pictures and videos once we deliver the supplies, we will share our experience with all of you.
