COCONUT

Coconut is a tropical fruit of the coconut palm, which is the most cultivated palm in the world. Its outer skin is brown and very hard. The inside flesh is white and aromatic. Its milk is highly appreciated and healthy. The fruit has around 20 to 30 centimeters and weighs approximately 2,5 kilograms.

Origin

Coconut is originally from Pacific Islands, although is cultivated in a lot of areas with temperate climate, such as Central America, Caribbean or tropical Africa, and its production plays an important role in their economy.
